Call for Application: LSA 2026 Writing Workshop

The Lagos Studies Association is happy to announce that we shall once again be running the writing workshop for authors who have completed manuscript, they intend to send to journals for publication consideration. The workshop is part of LSA 2026 (June 16-20)

Selected Candidates will receive:

1)     9 nights of hotel accommodation

2)     Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 9 days

3)     Registration fee waiver/reimbursement

4)     Transportation allowance

 Deadline: January 1, 2026

Eligibility

1)     You must have a manuscript already complete and ready to be submitted to journals for publication consideration. World-count: 7,000-10,000.

2)     Nigeria-based scholars only

3)     Advanced PhD students (post-field candidates)

4)     PhD holders whose degree was awarded from 2020

5)     Fields include the arts and humanities, social sciences, and education, among other interdisciplinary disciplines

 Requirements

1)     A 300-word letter of intent/motivation letter detailing your career trajectory

2)     Curriculum vitae

3)     Journal manuscript
