Call for Applications: The 4th Cohort of the LSA Mentoring Program for Women Graduate Students in Nigeria

With funding from Lucius and Eva Eastman Fund, the Lagos Studies Association is pleased to announce applications for the 4th cohort of its Mentoring Program for Women Graduate Students in Nigeria (2027-2029).

Established in 2019, this program provides women PhD students with the opportunity to be mentored by experienced women scholars in their field, and to experience, fully, the LSA Conference (June 15-19).

Selected candidates will receive:

1) 6 nights of hotel accommodation

2) Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 5 days

3) Registration fee waiver/reimbursement

4) Transportation allowance

Deadline: January 1, 2027

Eligibility

1) Nigeria-based PhD students

2) Fields include the arts and humanities, social sciences, and education, among other interdisciplinary disciplines
